Mosaic Art Collective proudly presents “LUXE: Reflecting Queer Beauty and Resilience,” an open call inviting artists from all corners of the LGBTQ+ community and allies to explore and celebrate the multifaceted aspects of queer identity through art.
In a world where queer voices are often marginalized, silenced, or misrepresented, “Luxe” seeks to create a vibrant and inclusive space where artists can express their authentic selves, narratives, and experiences. Through a diverse range of mediums, from traditional to contemporary, we aim to illuminate the beauty, strength, and resilience inherent within queer individuals and communities.
The theme of “Luxe” encourages artists to delve into the complexities of queer identity, embracing both the light and shadow aspects of their lived experiences. Whether through personal introspection, cultural commentary, or collective celebration, we invite artists to explore themes such as self-discovery, empowerment, love, joy, struggle, and resistance.
Artworks submitted to “Luxe” should embody a spirit of authenticity, creativity, and innovation. We welcome submissions across various disciplines, including but not limited to painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, performance, and installation.
