MTC Face Mask Policy

Overview

At Manchester True Collaborative, the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and the community we serve are our top priorities. Considering current health guidelines and to provide a comfortable environment for everyone, we have implemented a flexible face mask policy. This policy aims to accommodate individual preferences while maintaining a safe environment for all.

Policy Scope

This face mask policy applies to all employees, volunteers, clients, visitors, and anyone else entering the premises of Manchester True Collaborative. It covers the use of face masks within all indoor facilities, during outdoor activities, and in situations where face-to-face interactions occur.

Face Mask Guidelines

Indoor Spaces

  • Wearing a face mask inside the organization’s buildings, including offices, meeting rooms, common areas, restrooms, and hallways, is optional.
  • Individuals are encouraged to wear a face mask if they feel more comfortable doing so, especially in crowded or enclosed spaces.

Outdoor Spaces

  • Face masks are not required in outdoor settings. However, individuals may choose to wear a face mask when social distancing measures cannot be maintained.

Face-to-Face Interactions

  • Face masks are optional during face-to-face interactions with clients, visitors, and other external parties, whether indoors or outdoors.
  • Staff and volunteers are expected to respect the face mask choices of others and to maintain proper hygiene practices.

Respecting Individual Choices

We recognize that wearing a face mask is a personal choice. Manchester True Collaborative supports and respects the decisions of individuals regarding face mask use. We ask everyone to be considerate of others’ preferences and to foster an inclusive environment.

Health and Safety Measures

While face masks are not required, we continue to prioritize the health and safety of our community through the following measures:

  • Maintaining regular cleaning and disinfection of high-touch surfaces.
  • Providing hand sanitizing stations throughout the premises.
  • Encouraging individuals to stay home if they are feeling unwell or exhibiting symptoms of illness.
  • Manchester True Collaborative will follow all local, state, and federal requirements.

Communication

Effective communication of this policy is crucial for its success. The policy will be:

  • Communicated to all employees and volunteers during orientation and through regular updates.
  • Included in client information packets and displayed on the organization’s website.
  • Announced through email newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.

Review and Update

This face mask policy will be regularly reviewed and updated in response to changes in public health guidelines and the evolving nature of health risks. Feedback from staff, volunteers, and the community will be considered in the review process.

Conclusion

At Manchester True Collaborative Center, we are committed to protecting the health and well-being of our community. The implementation of this face mask policy is a step towards accommodating individual preferences while maintaining a safe environment. We appreciate the cooperation and understanding of everyone involved as we navigate these times together.
