Manchester, NH – Manchester True Collaborative is thrilled to announce the opening of the Manchester True Collaborative Center, the first LGBTQIA+ community center in New Hampshire, offering vital support to persons of all ages. The grand opening celebration will take place on April 3rd, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the center’s new location, 72 Concord Street, Manchester, NH 03101. The event will provide community members the opportunity to explore the center’s resources, meet the staff, and learn about the exciting programs available to the LGBTQIA+ community.
The Manchester True Collaborative Center is designed to be a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where LGBTQIA+ individuals can access support, connect with others, and engage in meaningful activities. This new facility represents a significant step in expanding resources and building a stronger community for LGBTQIA+ individuals throughout New Hampshire.
Scott Cloutier, President and Chair of the Board of Directors, expressed his excitement for the opening, saying:
“We are so proud of this momentous occasion. There is no better time to be opening a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community. Now is the time to come together and show support to all members of the queer community in the Granite State. Our goal is to collaborate with other non-profits and allies alike to create a space where all feel welcome.”
In addition to the center’s opening, the Manchester True Collaborative will also host the Pride Parade and Festival in downtown Manchester on June 28, 2025. The event, which will take place rain or shine, will celebrate LGBTQIA+ pride with a vibrant, inclusive gathering of individuals and allies from across New Hampshire.
Kaylee Levine, Director of Communications for Manchester True Collaborative, shared her passion for the organization’s mission:
“I am a proud ally to this community, and I wanted to find a place where I could help others seek their found family, just as I did. No other group has been so open and filled with love to educate and share the best ways to advocate and support the LGBTQIA+ community. I’m honored to be part of this effort and can’t wait to see the positive impact the center will have on so many lives.”
The grand opening event on April 3rd will include light refreshments, programing information, tours of the center, and the opportunity to meet others in the LGBTQIA+ community. The public is invited to attend and learn more about the center’s mission, programs, and how they can get involved.
