Local businesses encouraged to hang pride flags in show of support!

Manchester, NH – Manchester True Collaborative, a new program of YWCA NH, and Queerlective look forward to celebrating Pride Month, during the Manchester Pride Festival, in Veterans Park on June 17th.   While lawmakers across the country have introduced hundreds of bills restricting the rights and freedoms of LGBTQIA+ people, Manchester, New Hampshire will continue to celebrate and support the queer community.

This year’s pride festival is host to 60+ local vendors, 6 food trucks, 30+ artists in Queerlective’s Queer Art Extravaganza, a Queer Youth Space, and entertainment all day; including, Porcia J. Chanel, Sasha Stone, Queen City’s a Drag, House of Marvel Entertainment, New Hampshire Gay Men’s Chorus and many more!

“The outpouring of support and openness to collaboration for Pride Month in Manchester has been wonderful to see! We are encouraging all local organizations in Manchester to raise a pride flag in solidarity and support” says Scott Cloutier, Co-Chair of Manchester True Collaborative.

The month of June will have many local LGBTQIA+ related local events and beginning Monday, June 12th, Manchester True Collaborative will be hosting events each day of the week.  All are welcome to attend!
